UPDATE TO SPARK'S MANDATORY MASKING AND SOCIAL DISTANCING REQUIREMENT

12 July 2021

On July 1, Alberta entered Stage 3 of the province’s Open for Summer Plan, which meant that businesses could resume their pre-pandemic level of activity and operations. Shortly after the lifting of provincial public health restrictions, the Calgary city council followed suit and voted to rescind its mandatory mask bylaw, which brought Calgary in line with most other municipalities in Alberta, including Fort Saskatchewan.

SPARK MEMBER AND EMPLOYEE IMPACT

Effective immediately, masking and social distancing will no longer be mandatory at SPARK the Energy Credit Union, in line with the recent updates from municipal and public health authorities.

While no longer required, we continue to encourage masking and distancing when it makes sense to help support the comfort of all of our people. Continuing to practice these safety measures is an individual choice, and no one should feel discouraged from doing so.
