RRIF

Registered Retirement Income Fund

You've been saving diligently throughout your working years. Now, it's time to reap the benefits!

Think of a Registered Retirement Income Fund (RRIF) as an extension to your Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP). An RRIF is a great way to earn an income from your investments after you retire, instead of putting money into it, you withdraw from it to use throughout retirement.

When you contribute funds into your RRSP before you retire, your money grows tax-sheltered. Once you retire you convert your RRSP into an RRIF, where you will then withdraw money from it as an income, while your investment continues to grow tax-sheltered.

Our investment professionals can help you make the right decisions so that you can enjoy your retirement. Learn more about an RRIF at your local branch.
